Forever Friday: Tim

Today I'd like to introduce you to Tim. This handsome boy is 12 years old and lives in an orphanage in Eastern Europe. Tim is a communicative, inquisitive, sociable, and kind boy. When adults visit, Tim hopes they will take him home to be a member of the family. Tim goes to a regular school. He is HIV+ and is very good about taking his medication. Although he is older, Tim needs a family. The prospects for children who age out of the orphanage are not good. Tim deserves the opportunity to join a sports team, create science projects, or maybe play a musical instrument. Tim deserves to be loved by a family of his own! Is Tim your son? Tim currently has more than $4000 in his grant. You can help it grow! You can help Tim find his forever family by sharing his information.

My husband and I adopted a child who was around Tim's age at the time of adoption. If you are interested in adopting Tim or any other older child, I am happy to discuss our experiences with you.

I'd also like to take this opportunity to let you know that Jack's family has added a tax-deductible donation button to their website. It is the second PayPal button on the top right of the page, and it adds a donation to their FIG account through Project Hopeful. Money donated to the FIG account is available to the family immediately to help meet their current adoption expenses.
